Jason joined Gottfried & Somberg Wealth Management as an Associate Analyst after interning with the firm in the spring of 2025. He plays a vital role in supporting both advisors and clients, leveraging his analytical skills and financial acumen to help individuals and families pursue their financial aspirations.
Jason's responsibilities include financial planning support, where he assists with data entry, plan preparation, and meeting documentation. He is integral to research, analysis, and reporting, pulling performance data and preparing essential meeting materials. Within portfolio management, Jason aids with trade entry and generating comprehensive portfolio reports. He also contributes to prospect acquisition and client relations by attending preparation and client meetings, and supports wealth management content creation by assisting with formatting and data compilation for commentary.
A proud graduate of Wesleyan University (2025), Jason earned a major in Economics and a minor in Data Analysis, graduating with Dean's List honors. He was an active member of the Wesleyan Investment Group. Jason's commitment and drive extend to his athletic pursuits; he was a key member of the 2025 NESCAC Championship-winning Wesleyan Football Team, earning First Team All-Conference Defensive End honors.
Prior to his current role, Jason gained valuable experience through internships at Gottfried & Somberg Wealth Management and Allegiant Wealth Management. He currently holds the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 7 certifications. Demonstrating a commitment to professional growth, he is actively pursuing his Series 66 license to further enhance his expertise in client service and investment strategy.
Originally from Wallingford, CT, Jason enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. While a devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins, he remains optimistic about future seasons.
