Matthew Minese, CFA

Matthew Minese joined Gottfried & Somberg Wealth Management in November 2024.

Matt achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA) and has over 12 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry.

Matt has previously worked as a Senior Analyst at Greensledge Asset Management, a Client Investment Strategist at Sunlife Capital Management, and an Assistant Research Analyst at The Hartford Investment Management (HIMCO).

As an analyst, Matt dedicated himself to providing detailed research recommendations and investment ideas to help improve client investment returns. He worked to understand companies and investment ideas in detail to help drive portfolio outperformance. Working alongside our advisors, Matt applies the knowledge he gained through the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and his undergraduate degree from Bryant University to help clients achieve their specific goals.

Matt resides in South Windsor with his wife, Carissa, and their two young children, Grant and Lena. During the summer, Matt and Carissa will enjoy time by their pool and with their children outside. On the weekends, the family takes their dog, Autumn, for long walks through South Windsor, and Matt enjoys time on the golf course.
