As Director of Client Development and Community Engagement, Patrick leads growth initiatives, enhances brand visibility, and manages philanthropic engagement for Gottfried & Somberg Wealth Management. Patrick brings over a decade of leadership to the role, along with a deep understanding of how lasting relationships are built through trust, shared interests, and genuine community involvement.

Before joining the firm, Patrick spent ten years at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, most recently serving as Vice President of Programming, and served as Co-Executive Director of the Warner Theatre. Throughout his career, he led donor investment efforts, managed board and stakeholder relationships, developed high performing teams, and directed strategic marketing campaigns, the same skills that now shape how he grows Gottfried & Somberg's presence across Connecticut’s business and philanthropic communities.

Patrick remains deeply connected to the cultural institutions and causes he has spent his career supporting. He views philanthropy not as a separate endeavor, but as a meaningful way to create impact, strengthen communities, and foster lasting relationships.

Patrick lives in Avon, Connecticut with his husband, Chris. Outside the office, you'll usually find him cooking something ambitious, tracking down a new hiking trail, at a live performance, or hosting friends and family around his table.
